What Are Your Rates?

Hourly session rates for music are visible on the booking page.
Flat rates for Mixing, Mastering and Production are available through our Contact Form.

Every artist is unique and so are their requirements. Contact us to discuss your individual needs and we can help put together a plan customized to meet your goals.

Where can I park?

City Hall Parking Lot: Located at 444 Doyle Ave.
The lot operates with a pay parking system from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays and from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on weekends. The event rate is $1.50 per hour.
The lot is currently free to use after 6 p.m. on weekdays and on weekends

Is Mixing Included in the Session?

There are two main ways to pay for mixing services: hourly rate and flat rate.

Hourly rate mixing is common in home studios, where the engineer charges by the hour for their time. This can be a good option for clients who have a limited budget, as they can only pay for as much time as they need. It can also be good for artists who desire a high level of detailed input during the mixing process.

Flat rate mixing is the industry standard method for mixing services.
This method allows the engineer to work freely without a time constraint. This can be a good for artists who want to know the final cost of mixing upfront and have a high level of trust in their engineer. Flat rate mixing can also be a good option for clients who have complex songs that require more time.

This will give us the time to meet the high technical standards and ensure your songs transfer across all listening environments. This also allows you use your session time for maximum creativity. Please consult with your engineer about mixing and mastering rates at they varies by project and complexity.

Preparing your Session For Mixdown

1. Clean
Start by going through your tracks, and bypassing effects. If an effect is critical to the sound of your track please feel free to leave it on, or even better, put the effect on a seperate track alongside the clean one. it can be difficult to manipulate a pre-effected track that no longer works within the context of the new mix. (Bypass: EQ, compression, limiting, reverb. Leave on: virtual instruments, important EQ, anything you believe must stay exactly on the mix)

2. Organize
Arranging the tracks in the session and giving them each a purposeful name will make the mixdown process much faster.

3. Consolidate & Export
Export your session stems. If you are unsure how to do this, here are some tutorials for popular DAWs

4. Test your Stems
Load your Exported Stems in to your DAW to verify they are playing back correctly, and there are no blank tracks. We want to start exactly how you want the song to be picked up

5. Pack & Send
Place all the files in one folder “Artist – Song” and compress the folder into a .zip or .rar file

Can I smoke inside the Studio?

The building does NOT permit smoking. There are designated smoking areas located outside the building. Feel free to bring anything else you might need, just no smoking. Vapes and dab pens are okay.
